Promoting Faculty Adoption of Technology at Wake Forest University: "WFU has tried and continues to use different approaches to promote faculty adoption of technology. There is no magic bullet that is 100% effective, but each approach has had some success because it met a faculty need—the need for a readily available technical advisor, for money and release time to complete special projects, or for a partner committed to exploring and implementing technology tools in the classroom. Regardless of what program or initiative is in place, it is important to remember that when faculty members see their colleagues using technology, they become more open to trying new things. It is our hope that the Wake Forest experience will inspire others to seek the right combination of funding and institution-specific programming to maximize faculty willingness to use technology."
